How was 2022 for you? Did you make some goals and see them through? Did you merely survive? It can be hard to reflect on and sum up 4 seasons of life. For me, I have profound gratitude that I have completed 18 years in this real estate industry and have been able to make new friendships and be a trusted advisor to so many different people. I am grateful to have completed a 3rd year with Nicole as my right-hand gal! I am grateful for family and friends. I spent the last 2+ years actively dodging COVID, and did not attend many social events, but ultimately got it after letting my guard down one day at an outdoor concert. The lesson: just do the best I can, and I can't control everything despite my best efforts. You will still see me in masks, often I am the only one in a room full of people, but that is my personality, I am a cautious one.
In early December, I wrapped up my final transactions of the year and I have spent December slowly working on my to-do lists: replacing smoke detectors in both my house and my dad's home, clearing out emails and organizing photos. (By the way, did you know you should replace your smoke detectors every 7 - 10 years?) It has been nice to have a slightly slower month to regroup and reset. Thank you for trusting me with your biggest purchase in life, thank you for trusting me to help you position and sell your biggest asset in life, and thank you for calling on me for referrals to the best agents across the country. Your on-going support keeps me in business and that is the best gift for this local girl that was born in Berkeley and raised in Oakland. I am looking forward to 2023 and can't wait to receive your calls and emails asking me for real-estate related advice or to help you if a move is right for you!
Enjoy the rest of this chilly month and eat something delicious,
